Why in news?
Land Stack is an integrated GIS-based digital platform launched by Ministry of State for Rural Development and Communications, to consolidate fragmented land records into a single accessible system. It aims to modernize land governance under the Digital India Land Records Modernisation Programme (DILRMP).Γ’β¬βΉ
Key Features
- The platform provides single-window access to property details, ownership, deeds, encumbrances, litigation status, and rural records like Hadbast and Khewat numbers.
- It integrates urban and rural data on a GIS map, reducing the need for physical visits to offices.Γ’β¬βΉ
