Sanchar Mitra Scheme
Why in news?
The Sanchar Mitra Scheme, launched by Department of Telecommunications (DoT), engages university students as volunteers to promote digital literacy, cyber hygiene, and telecom awareness nationwide. Initially a pilot, but expanded across all states and UTs, with 222 institutions currently participating as of recent Lok Sabha updates.Γ’β¬βΉ
