Typhoon Ragasa, the world's strongest storm of 2025, made landfall in southern China after causing severe destruction and loss of life in Taiwan and the Philippines.

The storm became a tropical depression, was designated "Nando" locally in the Philippines, and was named "Ragasa" by the Japan Meteorological Agency.
