Why in news?
India MedTech Expo 2025 is the second edition of India's largest medical technology exhibition, scheduled to be held at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, from September 4 to 6, 2025. 
 
The event is organized by the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Government of India, in collaboration with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and other key government bodies.

• Theme: "India: Global MedTech Manufacturing Hub, Precision Engineering yet Affordable."

• Participation from more than 30 countries with international and Indian companies, MSMEs, start-ups, research institutions, and government pavilions.
• Special pavilions covering MSMEs, future innovations, R&D, government initiatives, states, and start-ups.
• Focus on advancing India’s Vision 2047 in the MedTech sector, fostering innovation, investment, and export opportunities.
• Networking opportunities through CEO roundtables, fireside chats, and state-focused sessions.

This event is a significant platform for showcasing India's growing medical devices sector, which is projected to reach USD 30 billion by 2030, and aims to position India as a global innovation and export hub in MedTech.
