Sādhana Śrinkhla (Series) 2026
Why in News?
The Capacity Building Commission (CBC) has launched Sādhana Śrinkhla (Series) 2026, a nationwide series of regional consultative workshops under the central government's Mission Karmayogi initiative. It is in the news because the second regional workshop for the North-Eastern states is being inaugurated in Guwahati, Assam, by Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma.
What is Sādhana Śrinkhla 2026?
- Full Form of Sādhana: It stands for Strengthening Adaptive Development and Humane Aptitude for National Advancement.
- Core Objective: The primary goal is to transform government Training Institutes from standalone course-providers into strategic, competency-driven Capacity Building Institutions.
- The Mission Karmayogi Connection: It serves as a regional extension of the National Programme for Civil Services Capacity Building (Mission Karmayogi) to create a future-ready, responsive, and citizen-centric civil service.
- Preceding Milestones: This series scales up the national dialogue following the Regional Task Forces, the Sādhana Saptah (held 2–8 April 2026), and the National Departmental Summit (held 15 May 2026).
Key Features & Institutional Reforms
- Unified Platform (UNNATI): More than 900 central and state training institutes will be integrated onto a single platform named UNNATI.
- Resource Sharing: A dedicated feature called UNNATI Exchange will allow these institutes to seamlessly share infrastructure, courses, and expert faculty.
- State-Specific Action Plans: The workshops emphasize translating central civil service reforms into practical, state-specific priorities, focusing on better governance, updated faculty capabilities, and digital empowerment.
- Broad Stakeholder Participation: Each 1.5-day workshop brings together senior state/UT officials, heads of training academies, public sector undertakings (PSUs), industry partners, subject experts, and startups.
