About the Awards
- Nodal Authority: Presented annually by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) under the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions.
- Inception: These awards have been institutionalised and given regularly since 2003.
- Core Objective: To recognize, promote, and replicate excellence in implementing e-Governance solutions, fostering incremental tech innovations, and accelerating public welfare.
2026 Event Details
- Host & Theme: The 29th conference was held in Jaipur, Rajasthan, focusing on "Viksit Bharat 2047: AI-Enabled, Data-Driven and Secure Digital Governance".
- Organisers: Jointly organized by DARPG, MeitY, and the Government of Rajasthan.
