The Department of Pension & Pensioners’ Welfare (DoPPW), Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, will organise the 9th National Anubhav Awards Ceremony on 17 August 2026 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.
15 awardees will receive the National Anubhav Awards 2026 from Dr Jitendra Singh, Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions.
What is the Anubhav Platform?
Anubhav is a platform of the DoPPW that enables retiring and retired employees to document and share their professional experiences, innovations and contributions to public administration.
It covers retiring/retired employees of the Central Government, 12 Public Sector Banks and Central Public Sector Enterprises.
The broader objective is to preserve institutional memory and administrative knowledge that could otherwise be lost when experienced officials retire.
National Anubhav Awards 2026
The 15 selected awardees have contributed to important areas of nation-building, including Passport Seva Kendra, repeal and reformulation of outdated rules, technological adoption in administration and accounting, and energy conservation.
The awards therefore recognise not merely length of government service but valuable institutional experience, innovation and contributions to governance.
Associated Initiatives
The awards ceremony will be held alongside the 60th Pre-Retirement Counselling (PRC) Workshop, primarily for retiring Central Government employees in the NCR.
The event will also feature the release of the Handbook on Pension Mitra and Guidelines for Nationwide Digital Life Certificate (DLC) Campaign 5.
An exhibition involving 17 pension-disbursing banks will showcase services and products relevant to retiring employees.
