About
The MSME Sustainable ZED Certification Scheme is a flagship initiative of the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) aimed at promoting quality manufacturing and environmentally sustainable production among MSMEs.
It is based on the philosophy of "Zero Defect, Zero Effect (ZED)", first introduced under the Make in India initiative.
The scheme encourages MSMEs to manufacture defect-free products while ensuring minimal environmental impact.
The Quality Council of India (QCI) is the implementing agency responsible for assessment and certification.
